So recently my girlfriend has been going Youtube and blogger crazy and really getting into blogging stuff about makeup and all the cool stuff that she loves, SO … I thought I would give some typing a crack too. A few years back I did write some rant about my day and what I was doing around Christmas and stuff like that, and to be honest it didn't sound too bad but never ended up doing anything about it. Anyways that's enough rambling on about why I'm doing this now to get into actually doing it.
I’ve just started reading ‘the fault in our stars’ which I think is pretty cool, it has a nice read to it not really complicated and not a lot going on in it currently but a nice smooth read, sounds like a driving a car not actually reading a book. I have decided to read the book before I watch the film which, could be a good idea but also may not be a good idea. I find sometimes a book is WAYYY better than the film but, then again sometimes it seems like it is easier to watch a film than read the book. I thought this with a book that I read quite awhile ago called ‘the lovely bones’ it was an amazing read however, when finally watching the film I thought it was total utter crap! The film wasn’t long enough to put everything that happened in the detail it happened in 2hrs.
In other random things that I have been doing with my life, I had a weeks holiday in at work and had all these great ideas to tidy up and sort my house out, finally get everything into place after only what 8 months since I moved in. However what I ended up doing was watching ALL of Scandal from season 1 to 4!!! How amazing is this show please!!! I haven’t decided whos team i’m for yet I keep changing my mind from Fitz to Jake, but ultimately when it comes down to it; I think I have to go for team Jake!
A true love of mine is watching boxsets; I am obsessed with them and I will pretty much watch anything! I think the best thing about watching a boxset is that you don’t have to wait for the next episode, you can literally sit and watch one after the other and never get disappointed. Unless, you have the moment when you are watching with someone else and they fall asleep mid episode. Then you play that game of should I watch the next one after, then the end is such a cliffhanger so you totally have to!
One of the other ridiculously un-fun things I did today was go through my emails and sort them out. I do tend to leave it for as long as possible before I dive in and sort them out, usually I don’t bother to sort them out because they are completely boring and uninteresting. Mostly full of offers and ways that I can spend so much money of which I don’t have! However, as I am ranting it took me ages to finally be able to sort through my emails after trying to get two very old laptops to work that I haven’t used in forever! Mainly because on one of them the screen is buggered and on the other one it just has no battery life anymore! Need to invest in new technology. I’m so behind the times, I had to get my girlfriend to tell me how pinterest works the other day and don’t get me started with twitter! I know the simply things like doing a tweet and that is about it. I find that on twitter you have to find something remotely interesting to say, rather unlike facebook where people just let everyone else know when they have eaten slept showered and pooed, or when you just have loads of shares about news things that aren’t true so frustrating.
In other news, its once again that time of your for Valentines day!!! I have absolutely no clue what to do or get for my girlfriend, I joked about getting a chocolate rose from Sainsbury's for a £1 she seemed quite happy about it. But I really couldn't just do that to her she's watched too many of these Snapped:Women who kill programmes to even chance that one I tell you. I'm trying to think of something really cute to do or write or something like that. For our 3rd Anniversary I decide that I would start writing little notes about random things that we had done or things that I'd love about a certain day .. so I think it is going to be hard to top that one or to thing of something along those lines to do again. If only love was simple hehe!
